Truly Scrumptious ~ #3

Good Afternoon

The Truly Scrumptious challenge this week is a fab sketch designed by Beth. The DT also want us to use something shiny (anything that would attract a magpie's eye) so I have used a Dovecraft jewel brad in the centre of the flower for my "something shiny".

Image ~ Penny Black stamp (? name)
Papers ~ Dovecraft Wild Blossom
Ribbon ~ Anita's
Flowers ~ Magazine freebie
Pearls ~ Kanban
Brad ~ Dovecraft

I have made this card for Chris' "Auntie Pat" who is 70 today. She is not really his auntie but he has called her this since he was a little boy as Pat and her husband Mike are good friends of his parents. I decided not to put a 70 on the front of the card but have included it in the verse instead. I have also made a box to match as it is a special birthday.
