I still have a few presents to wrap ready to deliver to my uncle and his family this afternoon but other than that think i'm just about ready!  I'm always a bit last minute when it comes to Christmas so I said to Chris last night that next year i'm going to start early but he reminded me I have said that every year he's known me lol!

Hope you are all well.  Sorry I have been such a bad blogger (hope Santa doesn't put me on his naughty list lol!) but I have had a lot going on the last few weeks and with Christmas preparations this has left me with no time for crafting. 

 

However, I managed to find time last week to make a card for Lynsey and Marianne because we were meeting up with them, along with husbands and children, for lunch on Sunday.

Good morning

Oh the weather is gorgeous here this morning ... hope it continues because we are heading off to the coast later.  Chloe is away this weekend and Jamie is going to MIL's so we have the day to ourselves.  So a nice relaxing walk along the beach followed by a pub lunch is what we have planned for today :-)

A Card At Last!

Good morning

 

Hope you are all well and those of you who went to Ally Pally yesterday had a great day.  I was intending to go with my friends Marianne and Lynsey but because I haven't really felt in the mood for crafting the last few weeks decided to give it a miss this time.

Anyway at last I have a card to share ... I started making it on Friday night and finished it off yesterday.

 

 

  When I started I had intended on making a card using a Sugar Nellie image so followed the great sketch over at The Sugar Bowl. However, in the end I didn't think the image I had coloured suited the card so grabbed a LOTV die cut because I really couldn't be bothered to colour another image. I have added some Stardust stickles to the image for a little bit of sparkle!

The papers, ribbon, button and twine are all from the Molly Blooms Christmas Carnival magazine/ kit which is where I got the idea for the twine threaded through the button. The sentiment is a Little Claire's stamp. Flowers, leaves and pearls from my stash.

Yesterday we ordered a new carpet for the lounge/dining room so we are going to be busy the next couple of weeks getting things moved ready for it to be fitted.  It seemed like a good idea yesterday until we got home and looked at everything that has got to be moved ... oh well it will keep us out of mischief lol!

Hope you are all well.  I have had a lovely couple of days with Chloe and Jamie ... yesterday we went shopping and had lunch out and today we had a picnic lunch in the lounge and watched The Muppets Movie :-)

 

Moving on to my card which I started last night but it just wasn't coming together so I got up early and finished it off this morning.  I found the image in my ''coloured images'' box which I coloured at the LOTV colouring class last May ... so I went with a pink & brown colour combo which also just happens  to be one of my favs!

For My Valentine ... ♥

Good morning

Oh I have had a busy week with the children on school holidays but I do enjoy having them at home with me :-)  Chloe was at a guide sleepover at the beginning of the week so only Jamie at home until Tuesday afternoon.  I took him toy shopping on Tuesday and we had lunch out and yesterday we all went over to see my Mum and Nan for the day.  Going to catch up with the housework today, pop to the shops and Jamie wants to do some Promarker colouring this afternoon   I am back to work for a rest tomorrow lol!

Hope you are all well.  It's so windy here today ... we have had a couple of powercuts but luckily it came back on after a few minutes.  I have been busy the last few days so no time for crafting.  I went Christmas shopping with Chris on Monday and we managed to get most of the presents but still got a few to get!  I have had a crafty day today and managed to make Chloe and Jamie's cards so just need to make one for Chris and then the cards will be finished.  Still got loads to do though ... cards to write, presents to wrap, decorations to put up, food to buy!  I feel worn out just thinking about it lol!

Hope you are all well.  I can't believe it's been over a week since my last blog post.  I haven't been feeling too great the last couple of weeks (cold, sore throat etc) but I have also been catching up with a few jobs that have been on my 'To Do' list for some time.  I do, however, have a card to share with you today which I have made with a few challenges in mind.  I coloured this sweet LOTV image a couple of weeks ago so it was only a matter of choosing my papers etc and putting it together.

Whilst looking through my papers I came across a 6 x 6 pack of Webster's Pages.  Now I bought these last year but couldn't bring myself to cut into them so they have sat in a drawer ever since ... does this sound familiar with any of you lol!  Anyway I decided to use one of the sheets on today's card!

Today's card is for a lovely couple who are celebrating their 30th Wedding Anniversary today.  I was a bit short of time when I made a start on this card yesterday afternoon so decided to use this sweet LOTV die cut .... not sure if this design is still available because this is one of the sheets I bought last year.  In fact it would probably have been quicker to colour an image because it took me ages to find papers to match.  I ended up using 3 different designs (Magnolia, Craft Creations and Henbury Lane).
