Another Sneak peek :o)

Good morning

Today I am sharing another card made with Sheena's new stamps which are being launched this Saturday.  The image on this card is from one of the Bah! Humbug! stamp plates.

This card is very CAS for me.  I think it could also be used for a winter birthday.  The backing paper is last year's Forever Friends, snowflakes are Marianne die cuts with a gem brad, swiss dots embossed card stock and gems from my stash.

Just a quick post from me today.  I need to catch up with the housework :o(

Sheena Douglass ~ Sneak peek

Good afternoon

Sheena Douglass is launching her new range of stamps and the Crafters Companion DT have been busy making samples for the launch on Create and Craft this Saturday at 8 am and 10 am.

This beautiful image and sentiment are from one of the 'Wouldn't It Be Lovely' stamp plates.   As you all know I am very into 'cute' when it comes to rubber stamps so this is a very different style of card for me but I must say I rather like it :o)

That's all from me.  I will be back in the morning with another sneak peek :o)

Up for grabs is the complete ‘A Winter’s Tale’ collection, including CD, stamp set and cardmaking kit for the lucky winner and ‘A Winter’s Tale’ CD for five runners-up. Simply upload a photo of your creation onto your blog, Facebook page, Flickr or other social networking page and post a link below using Mr. Linky.

Why not take a look at this month’s Monthly Challenge too? You could create a Beatrix Potter card using the sketch, and enter two challenges with one card, doubling your chances to win! You can enter as many cards as you like - the more times you enter, the more chance you have to win! The closing date for the challenge is Sunday 26th September.

If you do not yet have any Beatrix Potter products, you can still enter the challenge! We have a selection of papers from the brand new ‘A Winter’s Tale’ range available for you to download for FREE from the Members section of the web site! Click here to access your free papers. If you’re struggling for inspiration, check out the Projects section of the web site, where you’ll find a fabulous card and pillow box made using the free papers.

I have only recently received the CD and stamps so haven't had a chance to make a card yet but hope to have one finished later today.

On Saturday I met up for coffee with Lynsey and Marianne and then we popped into the local craft shop.  It was non-stop craft talk and I am sure the other customers in the coffee shop must have wondered what on earth we were talking about lol!

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Back to School, Awards and a little reminder!

Good morning

It is a beautiful sunny day and Chloe and Jamie went back to school this morning.  It's going to seem very quiet here today and I will miss them lots.  I was reading Fleur's blog this morning and she had also mentioned how she misses her daughter when she goes back to school so i'm glad i'm not the only one :o)

I took a quick photo of them before we headed off for school.  They both look a little nervous about going back but i'm sure they will be full of it when I collect them this afternoon.  It is Chloe's last year at Junior School and Jamie's last year at Infant School as they will both move up to new schools next September.  Chloe to High School and Jamie to Junior School.  Where has the time gone?

I have recently received 2 blog awards from the lovely Leann so thought I should get my act together and pass them on to my blogging buddies.  Thank you Leann! x

I have to pass this award on to 7 of my favourite blogs and this award is going to my fabulous teamies at Oldie But A Goodie

The rules for this award are you have to explain why you started your blog and then pass it on to 10 other trendy blogs you love.

The reason I started my blog is I wanted to share my love of crafting with like minded people.  Little did I know how addictive it would be!

I am passing this award on to ...

(A Sprinkling of Glitter)
 (Crafty Fox)

I would also just like to remind you that the brand new challenge blog 'Oldie But A Goodie starts tomorrow and this means I will be drawing a winner for my candy.  If you haven't entered my candy then you had better be quick because it ends tonight at midnight!  I will announce the winner in the morning when I post my DT card.

I think that's all (thank goodness for that I hear you cry lol!)
