A Winter's Tale

Good evening

Brrrr it's chilly here today!  We haven't had anymore snow but it's just so cold and very icy :-(  Anyway it's the 1st of the month so a new challenge has been set at the Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge.  This month there is a fab sketch by Leann with the added option of Christmas.  You can either use the sketch or the theme or combine both.  Sara has kindly dontated a £50 Gift Voucher to spend on the Crafter's Companion website as a special Christmas prize this month :o)

I decided to use this sweet image from the Beatrix Potter 'A Winter's Tale' stamp plate.  When I was trying to find some suitable papers for this image I came across my box of Magnolia papers.  Well I have a rather large selection of Magnolia papers but have never used any of them (hangs head in shame).  The thought of cutting into them was just too much to bear lol!  The problem I had was these papers were perfect for this sweet image so I plucked up the courage and cut them!  The sentiment is Cat's Life Press available from Crafty Emma's Store.

Challenges

The Crafty Pad ~ Snowflakes
DCD Christmas Club ~ Use a die cut (I have used 4)
Crafty Catz ~ Christmas

Hope you are well and keeping warm in this cold weather.

Lovely card Lisa. I know what you mean about cutting into papers - it's so difficult but you have overcome the reluctance and made a beautiful card. It won't be so hard to cut them the next time! LOL
