Last Sneak Peak :o)

Good morning

Today I am showing you my last sneak peak using Sheena's new stamp range which is being launced today.  The beautiful image on this card is from one of the 'Wouldn't It Be Lovely' stamp plates and was one of my favs to colour.

For this card I wanted the image to be the main focal point so decided to use one of my Cuttlebug folders for the background instead of papers.  I added just a little detail with the pearls and punched border using my favourite MS punch :o)

For My Dad

17/11/1947 - 2/10/2008

It's a sad day for me because it's two years ago that we lost my dearly loved dad.  He was only 60 and unfortunately suffered a stroke which he never recovered from.  I found this verse on the internet and it summed up my feelings about my dad so thought I would post it on here.

What we'd give if we could say,
'Hello Dad' in the same old way;
To hear your voice, and see your smile,
To sit with you and chat awhile,

So if you who have a father,
Cherish him with care,
For you'll never know the heartache,
Till you see his vacant chair.

Love and miss you always Dad xx

Hope you don't mind me posting about this but I still miss my dad as much as I did two years ago and couldn't let today pass without mentioning him.

Hope you all have a great weekend :o)

The sentiment about your dad is very moving - no matter how many years we still love and miss them.

Hi Lisa, firstly Im so sorry for you missing your dad, I know how you feel its almost a year since I lost my mum, and I still miss ringing her up on Sunday morning to chat with her. The worst is being an Orphan at 68, it sounds daft but thats how I feel.
These new images from Sheena are gorgeous and youve created a beautiful card with it. With love an dhugs Shirleyxx
