Oldie But A Goodie and Crafters Companion 'A Winter's Tale'

Good morning

Thanks to everyone who entered our first challenge at Oldie But A Goodie.  Don't forget to check to see if you were the winner or one of Francesca's Top 3.  This fortnight it's my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen 'Pink and Girly'.  Please remember the main image must be stamped and the stamp must be at least 6 months old (no digi images).

Crafters Companion ~ 'A Winter's Tale'

To celebrate the launch of ‘A Winter’s Tale’ TODAY, a cardmaking challenge has been set on the Crafters Companion Challenge Blog. The theme of the challenge is 'Beatrix Potter', and you can make a card or other crafting project using any of the range that has been launched to date.

Up for grabs is the complete ‘A Winter’s Tale’ collection, including CD, stamp set and cardmaking kit for the lucky winner and ‘A Winter’s Tale’ CD for five runners-up. Simply upload a photo of your creation onto your blog, Facebook page, Flickr or other social networking page and post a link below using Mr. Linky.

Why not take a look at this month’s Monthly Challenge too? You could create a Beatrix Potter card using the sketch, and enter two challenges with one card, doubling your chances to win! You can enter as many cards as you like - the more times you enter, the more chance you have to win! The closing date for the challenge is Sunday 26th September.

If you do not yet have any Beatrix Potter products, you can still enter the challenge! We have a selection of papers from the brand new ‘A Winter’s Tale’ range available for you to download for FREE from the Members section of the web site! Click here to access your free papers. If you’re struggling for inspiration, check out the Projects section of the web site, where you’ll find a fabulous card and pillow box made using the free papers.

I have only recently received the CD and stamps so haven't had a chance to make a card yet but hope to have one finished later today.

On Saturday I met up for coffee with Lynsey and Marianne and then we popped into the local craft shop.  It was non-stop craft talk and I am sure the other customers in the coffee shop must have wondered what on earth we were talking about lol!

Hope you all had a great weekend.
