Fairy Dust Tilda

Good afternoon

Last week I bought some gorgeous digi papers designed by Donna at  Bearly Mine Designs.  There are 5 designs (Flower Delight, Dots, Gingham, Floral Dreams and Just Plaid).  I couldn't make up my mind which ones to have so bought them all and I have just seen that Donna is also releasing 2 new sets this Friday.

It is the first time I have used this sweet Fairy Dust Tilda image and I did struggle a little with this image because Tilda is sitting down.  Because I am not very good at masking I usually cut out my sitting down images and mount them with foam pads.  However, with this image it didn't look right because of the 'fairy dust' around her so I got inspiration from Bev's stunning card using this image and used my Copics to make it look like Tilda is sitting on something. I am not overly keen on my attempt but hopefully I will get better with practice.

Image ~ Fairy Dust Tilda
Digi Papers ~ Bearly Mine Designs (Dots and Floral Delight)
Flowers ~ Large paper rose (Tabby Crafts) and silk flowers (Cuddly Buddly)
Ribbon ~ Stash
Pearls ~ Prima

Challenges

Just Magnolia ~ Sketch
One Stop Craft Challenge ~ Birthstones
(mine is opal but I have used pearls to represent opals)
Everybody-Art ~ Fairy Tale
Bunny Zoe's Crafts May Challenge ~ 3 Flowers, 2 Designer Papers and 1 Ribbon or Lace

Hope you are all having a good week so far and I hope to be back in the morning for WOYWDW and maybe some photos of Chloe on her birthday.

You've done a wonderful job Lisa, gorgeous colours and fab colouring. I'm with you, I like to have my images grounded instead of doing some free-floating lol.

Youv' done a great job Lisa. It's not easy with Tilda, you always feel as though she should be sitting on a bit of ribbon etc, but what you have done looks great.
Papers are just stunning, love spots and you cannot go wrong with pink and brown...Perfect. Debbiexx

You did a great job on your card and the challenges (thanks for joining OSCC). The shading for Tilda's 'seat' worked great. I always struggle to ground those girls as well!

A Gorgeous card Lisa, love the shading you've done behind Tilda to give the impression of her sitting, and love the combination of papers you've used.
I hope you don't mind if I nick your card to display in my gallery in my shop blog.
hugs
