Hope you are all well and having a good week so far. Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post ... it does feel very strange not having any DT work but I do feel it was the right decision.
Over the weekend I had a look through my stamps and found sweet Elise by Sugar Nellie so decided to make a card for The Sugar Bowl challenge where there is a fab sketch and the optional theme of Shades of Violet. Hope the Sweeties don't mind too much but I have tweaked the sketch very slightly because I don't really like my images to be at an angle! I think they look great on other people's cards just not my own ... I have a similar issue with buttons lol!

Hi Lisa. I meant to comment on your post the other day. I completely understand where you are coming from with regard to DT work. Its fun to do but it can completely take over and takes the fun out of our wonderful hobby. I am so glad you feel you made the right decision and I am glad that you are staying in blog land to continue to show us your wonderful creations!

Oh Lisa, you do make me smile re images at an angle. I challenge you to make a card that has distressed edges, image at an angle, doodling and buttons! No, that's not your style but this card is and how gorgeous it is too. Love tha sentiment and the flower arrangement with the gorgeous image. Such pretty colours too.
