I have made this card for the Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge DT call using the fab sketch provided. I am also entering this card for the Passion for Promarker challenge as I have used 'Rose Pink' & 'Lime Green' to colour this cute Bildmalarna Mimosa image.

This week at Allsorts we have a fab sketch designed by the very talented Dawny P to follow. Also Kirsten has set the challenge this week and would like to see "Chocolate & Marshmallow as the colour inspriation. This week's winner will receive a selection of Kirsten's favourite charms and spacers.







Sugar Nellie Pringle image coloured with Promarkers which has been cut out and layered with nesties, BG Bittersweet papers, Green Tara flowers with a Papermania jewel brad, the leaves are done using a Woodware punch and the sentiment is from the WOJ summer kit.

Christmas Swirls

I have seen lots of Christmas cards whilst blog hopping in the last few weeks so I have decided to try and make at least one a week starting now and this is the first one.

The challenge at ASFOS this week is "Swirls" and I whilst looking through my box of Christmas papers I found this swirly paper. I have no idea what it is but I really like it so if anybody knows please could you let me know. This is the first time I have used this sweet stamp by Pink Gem Designs.

I have used my new Martha Stewart punch on this card and I love it. It cuts through the card perfectly.

It is wet and windy here today so doubt we will be doing much this weekend.

Happy Birthday Jamie

Good Afternoon

It's Jamie's 5th Birthday today so we have had a busy morning. My mum came over at 8.00 this morning which was a lovely surprise for Jamie. She stayed for a couple of hours and not long after she had gone my cousin came with his little girl. Have just had a quick tidy up before Chris goes to get his mum.

Here's the card I made for Jamie. Think I might have mentioned before that Jamie really isn't interested in cards but he was quite impressed with this one as it has a tractor on it. He's tractor mad!

Allsorts Challenge ~ Week8

Good Afternoon

Sorry for being so late in posting my DT card for this week's Allsorts Challenge. The challenge this week has been set by Amanda and is "Shaped Cards". This week we are being sponsored by Liz at Pink Petticoat and the winner will get to choose a download from the Pink Petticoat Boutique.

I decided to make a handbag shaped card and have covered a card blank with double sided MME paper. I have used the reverse of the paper for the inside of the card and the small scallop. The edges of the card have been inked with pink.

Oh So Fruity!

Good Morning

It's going to be HOT again today. Chloe and Jamie are off school today as it's a teacher training day at both schools. Just a quick post as we are going out for the day and taking a picnic.

Over at the One Stop Craft Challenge it is "Oh So Fruity" and they want to see fruity colours. The colours in this paper remind me of strawberry, apple, lime and peach. I have used the same Penny Black image as my previous card as I think it is perfect for thank you cards. Looks like the little hedgie is popping up to say "Thank You".
