When I started making this card it was for the anything but square challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies but for some reason only known to myself I used a Sugar Nellie image!  Oh well not to worry - I enjoyed colouring this sweet image and it's another Christmas card to add to the box.

Finally the day has come for our first challenge over at Natalie and Amy's ... it's a monthly challenge and a new challenge will be posted on the 30th of every month so plenty of time to enter :-)

Moving onto to my card ... Mulberry Wood are my fav Christmas stamps so far this year so I decided to use another one.  This time I have used Merry & Bright ... awww I love this cute image :-)

Rosie Posy ~ Sending Sunshine & Smiles

Good afternoon

Hope you are all well.  I have had a lovely couple of days with Chloe and Jamie ... yesterday we went shopping and had lunch out and today we had a picnic lunch in the lounge and watched The Muppets Movie :-)

 

Moving on to my card which I started last night but it just wasn't coming together so I got up early and finished it off this morning.  I found the image in my ''coloured images'' box which I coloured at the LOTV colouring class last May ... so I went with a pink & brown colour combo which also just happens  to be one of my favs!

Our Holiday :-)

Good evening

Well once again it's been over a week since I last posted but I haven't been crafting because we've had a lovely few days away in Stratford-upon-Avon and Gloucestershire.  We went to Stratford on a day trip back in May when we were away in Oxford for the bank holiday weekend and liked it so much decided to return.  However, it's the first time we had been to Gloucestershire.  We had 2 days in Stratford before travelling down to Brockworth which is well known locally for  the annual rolling of Double Gloucester Cheese down Coopers Hill!  We also went to Warwick Castle, Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye, Gloucester Quays and Bourton on the Water.  We also managed to squeeze in some swimming at the hotel!  It was lovely to spend some quality time together and the weather was pretty good ... it did rain a couple of days but had dried out by early afternoon.  

Anyway because I haven't made any cards for the last week I thought I would share a few of our holiday photographs.

Good evening

We went over to see my Mum and Nan yesterday afternoon for a family BBQ ... everyone had a great time but we didn't get home until late and were feeling tired today so decided to have a lazy day at home.  Chloe and Jamie were happy watching the TV and playing on the X-Box so I decided to make a card using some of the new goodies I treated myself to from Natalie & Amy last week :-)

Delivering the Presents

Good evening

Hope you are all well.  It's been over a week since I last posted a card but once again I have been busy as it's the school hols so no craft time!

Anyway yesterday morning I decided to get up early to make a card before I made a start on the housework.  Sorry it's another Christmas card but I really wanted to use one of my new Lili of the Valley stamps ... oh I love this little cutie :-)
