SWALK Sneak Peek ~ Day 3

Good morning

It's Day 3 of the SWALK sneak peeks!  Today's card uses the Mum stamp and the sentiment that accompanies the stamp reads

Mum ... You're the Best!

I have just used the 'Mum' part of the sentiment leaving the inside for a  message (i.e You're special, Thanks for all you do etc)

The papers are from the CD and I have just added a few pearls and some ribbon from my stash.  The double bow was made on my Bow-Easy which are in stock at Bunny Zoe Crafts for just £4.95.

SWALK Sneak Peek ~ Day 2

Good morning

Here is my second sneak peek using the new Crafter's Companion SWALK stamps and CD which are being launched this Friday 22nd October.  The images are so sweet and a joy to colour and the CD contains a fab selection of digi papers, borders, flowers, inserts and more.

Sheena Douglass is launching another new stamp range 'A Little Bit Sketchy' on Tuesday 19th at 8am and 12 noon on Create & Craft.  There are 6 stamp plates in total which are A6 size and will be available on TV in 2 sets of 3!

Halloween Tilda

Good afternoon

It's another lovely sunny day here today.  My son is having a friend from school round tonight so hope the weather stays nice so they can play outisde for a while before tea.  It's been a bit quiet on my blog for the last couple of weeks but I have been busy with DT work.  All will be revealed in the next couple of weeks :o)  Yesterday I decided to have a break from my DT projects and made a Halloween card using this cute Tilda image.  I think she is from last year's Halloween collection but is new to me.

Thank you to everyone who left me such lovely comments on my last post.  They really mean a lot to me :o)

This is another CAS card which is unusual for me.  As much as I wanted to add flowers they really didn't look right.

I am going to watch Jamie's harvest festival this morning which will be lovely.  I love autumn and always loved harvest festival when I was at school :o) 

Last Sneak Peak :o)

Good morning

Today I am showing you my last sneak peak using Sheena's new stamp range which is being launced today.  The beautiful image on this card is from one of the 'Wouldn't It Be Lovely' stamp plates and was one of my favs to colour. 

For this card I wanted the image to be the main focal point so decided to use one of my Cuttlebug folders for the background instead of papers.  I added just a little detail with the pearls and punched border using my favourite MS punch :o)

For My Dad

17/11/1947 - 2/10/2008

It's a sad day for me because it's two years ago that we lost my dearly loved dad.  He was only 60 and unfortunately suffered a stroke which he never recovered from.  I found this verse on the internet and it summed up my feelings about my dad so thought I would post it on here.

What we'd give if we could say,

'Hello Dad' in the same old way;

To hear your voice, and see your smile,

To sit with you and chat awhile,

So if you who have a father,

Cherish him with care,

For you'll never know the heartache,

Till you see his vacant chair.

Love and miss you always Dad xx


Hope you don't mind me posting about this but I still miss my dad as much as I did two years ago and couldn't let today pass without mentioning him.

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. Jamie's school is having a staff training day so I have today off work and I have two DT cards to share with you :o)

First up is my card for the Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge. This month we have one of Bev's fab sketches and the theme is 'Untraditional Christmas'.
