DT News :-)

 

Hi ...Sorry it's been so quiet on my blog for the last couple of weeks.  I have been busy enjoying the long-awaited sunshine so no time for crafting!  I did, however, manage to find time to make a card this afternoon which I will post on here tomorrow.

The last time I posted I had applied for the DT call at Natalie and Amy's.   As most of you will know, I recently stepped down from my DT's because I had lost enthusiasm for crafting and was finding it difficult to fulfil my DT commitments .  Anyway I have been giving this some thought over the last few weeks and realised I have missed the commitment of having to make cards so when I spotted a DT call over at Natalie and Amy's I decided to apply and I am thrilled to say they have asked me if I would like to join their team :-)

Natalie and Amy's DT Call

Natalie and Amy are looking for 5 DT members that will be able to make at least 1 creation a month from the products in their store and help get the word out about their fantastic online shop.  The only stipulation is you must live in the UK ... no previous DT experience is necessary but enthusiasm is :-)  In return for your hard work you will get 25% discount on products from their store and some free goodies every month.  The DT call is open until 15th August.

Wish Upon a Star

Good afternoon

I was awake at 5:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so decided to get up and make a card.  Seeing as I had coloured this Mulberry Wood image last weekend and there are several Christmas in July challenges at the moment I decided to make another Christmas card.  

The image has been coloured with Spectrum Noirs and I have coloured the night sky following a great tutorial on the lovely Leann Chiver's blog.

Happy 8th Birthday Super Striker

Just a quick post before the school run!  It's Jamie's 8th birthday today so thought I would share the card I made for him.  As soon as I saw this cute LOTV footballer image I knew it was perfect for Jamie because it's so typical of him kicking a ball in the garden!

We are going out for a family meal tonight for Jamie's birthday. We haven't mentioned that my Mum, Nan and MIL are coming too so that will be a nice surprise for him :-)  

Mulberry Wood ~ Giving

Hope you are all well and have had a great weekend.

It's been busy at work so I worked an extra day last week so once again not much time for crafting.  Earlier in the week the new Mulberry Wood stamps and CD I ordered from Crafter's Companion arrived and I couldn't wait to get started but typically I was at work so had to patiently wait until the weekend.  So on Friday night I had a colouring session ... oh I love these cute images and can't wait to see if Crafter's Companion will be adding more stamps to the collection.

I had some spare time yesterday afternoon so made one of the images into a card ... they are all so cute but think this might be my favourite stamp from the collection :-)
