Good morning


Oh it's another wet and nasty day here in Norfolk :-(  We are going away to Oxford for a few days for the May bank holiday so fingers crossed the weather starts to improve soon. 

It's my final GDT card for The Stamp Basket.  The last 4 weeks have flown by and I can hardly believe it's my last time to post on The Stamp Basket blog.  I would like to say a big thank you to Janet for giving me the opportunity to design for her  ... I have loved every minute of it :-)

Party Ladies!

Good afternoon

I had a lovely day yesterday ... popped round to Jo's with her card and present and then we went to Dunelm Mill where I found the perfect duvet set and curtains for our bedroom. I have been looking the last couple of weeks but nothing really caught my eye until I saw these. Just waiting for the bedroom furniture now ... looking forward to seeing it all finished :-)

We have been busy decorating the last few days but I am pleased to say our bedroom is nearly finished ... just the door frames to paint today and then we can start putting the room back together!  We have ordered a new bed and have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor this week ... it just doesn't feel right and I haven't had a decent night's sleep all week so looking forward to the new bed being delivered on Tuesday.

A-May-Zing!

Good morning

I have been busy the last few nights making cards for a new crafting range 'A-May-Zing' that Nigel May is launching on Create & Craft on 19th April.  The first CD in the collection is 'All Kinds of Everything' and has something for occasions throughout the year (birthdays, weddings, romance, babies etc) and is jam packed with gorgeous toppers, papers, decoupage, sentiments and much much more!

For my first card I just had to use this gorgeous teapot image :-)

The topper, papers and sentiment have all been printed from the CD.  I have just added some ribbon, flowers, pearls and a matching charm which was made by punching out one of the tiny toppers from the image sheet using my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio tool and Epoxy Shapes (Square 25) which was then stuck to a Metal Charm Setting.

Hope you are all having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend so far. We had a relaxing day yesterday ... just popped out late afternoon to buy some paint because are planning to do some decorating next week and then we stopped off at KFC on the way home.  Not sure what we are doing today!

The Stamp Basket GDT card

Good morning

Today is my first time to post as GDT for The Stamp Basket.  Janet sent me a parcel which was bursting at the seams with gorgeous products and I am really looking forward to using them on my cards over the coming weeks.


Before I tell you about my card I would just like to remind you about The Stamp Basket's Easter Sale ... It finishes tomorrow at 9 am so you need to be quick if you want to grab yourself a bargain! 


Moving onto my card, I couldn't decide what to use first and was umming and ahhing but eventually opted to use this beautiful Annabelle's Meadow panel and teamed it up with some equally beautiful Prima 'Meadowlark' papers.
