Teddy Bo Challenge #11

Good morning

It's time for a new Teddy Bo Challenge but before I tell you the details I have some news to share .... Firstly I am pleased to say our talented guest designers Bev and Tab are joining us permanently and secondly Gayle wants to expand the design team so is holding a DT Call :-)  So if you would like to be considered for the design team all you need to do is enter the current challenge and add DT to your name ... simples!

Now moving onto the challenge ... this time we want to see your 'Shaped Cards' ... no squares or rectangles allowed!  We are sponsored by the lovely Lynne at Crafts 4 You and the prize for the winner is 3 sets of digital sentiments plus 3 Teddy Bo digi stamps with the runners up each getting a Teddy Bo digi stamp of their choice.

A few weeks ago I bought a selection of shaped card blanks from Which Craft UK and decided to use one of the Double Concertina Step Cards for today's card.  There are several different designs which I think are reasonably priced at £6.99 for 10 Pre-Cut and Scored Cards and Envelopes.  The P&P was also very reasonable and very quick delivery.  I know I could probably make one of these from scratch with a bit of measuring, scoring and cutting but I like an easy life lol!

A Gem of a Challenge #22

Today I am pleased to be sharing my first DT card for A Gem of a Challenge :-) This fortnight Rebekah is hosting the challenge and she has designed this fab sketch.  The prize for one lucky winner is 2 Polymer OR 6 Digi images from Pink Gem Designs.

Today my gorgeous girl is celebrating her 11th birthday :-)  In a blink of an eye the years have flown by ... I can hardly believe it was over a decade ago that I first became a mum to a sweet baby girl who in just a few months time will be starting high school!

Chloe has always loved Tatty Teddy and when she saw the stamps she asked if I would make her a Tatty Teddy card for her birthday.  Well seeing as I also love these cute bears I was happy to oblige lol!

Teddy Bo Tuesday & Challenge #10

Good morning

It's Teddy Bo Tuesday again so that means the lovely Gayle has released more adorable images of our cute & cuddly friends over at Teddy Bo's store.

It's also time for another Teddy Bo Challenge and this time it is 'TEDDY BO ONLY'.  No Bea's allowed!  Poor Bea is throwing her toys out of the pram as I type lol!

It's my cousin's 40th birthday on Friday and as he supports Norwich City FC I decided to use "Football King" and colour him in yellow & green ... Norwich City colours.  The 40 was cut on my Cricut Imagine using the 'BLAST OFF' cartridge.

Pink Gem DT News

Good morning

Just a quick post because I have lots of housework to catch up on today.  Chloe and Jamie also want me to take them into town this afternoon to spend the money my mum and nan gave them for Easter.  I am surprised it hasn't burnt a hole in their pockets before now lol!

I have some exciting news to share ... On Friday when I got home from work I was most surprised to see I had an email from Janet at Pink Gem Designs asking if I would like to join her design team.  Well seeing as I love Janet's designs it would have been rude to say no lol!  I am so looking forward to being part of such a lovely team :-)

Crafty Calendar Challenge DT Card

Good afternoon

Hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend.  We had a light rain shower here this morning but it's fine and dry again now.  To be honest as much as I love the sunshine we are really in need of rain in this part of the UK.

A new challenge has been set at the Crafty Calendar Challenge.  It is Caroline's turn to set the challenge and because it's her dad's birthday this month and they call him Ted the challenge is Teddy Bears.

Good Morning

Hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and the Royal Wedding on Friday :-)  Kate looked absolutely stunning and appeared so calm and carefree throughout the day.  I am sure Kate is going to be every bit the people's princess.  I bet it was an amazing day for anyone who travelled to London ... the sun was shining and everyone was in good spirits.  A perfect day :-)

The weather was lovely here in Norfolk again this weekend.  Chloe was camping with the Guides so she had a great time doing lots of outdoor activities!
