Hope you are all having a good week apart from the weather!  If this is spring I think I would rather go back to the 'winter weather' we had last week ~ warm and sunny!  Anyway enough of my waffling about the weather and onto the card I have made Chloe for Easter.

Yesterday in between taking and collecting Chloe from the birthday party I found time to make a card for the Forever Friends challenge.  I have quite a few FF stamps but don't seem to use them very often ~ not sure why because they are such sweet bears!

Wow we had an amazing number of entries for Amanda's Spring challenge. Don't forget to check to see if you were the winner.  Unfortunately there will be no top 5 for Amanda's challenge because Amanda spent the beginning of the week in hospital being diagnosed with gallstones so wasn't up to viewing and commenting on all your fab entries.  Hope you feel better soon Amanda!

At the beginning of the year I was going to alter a memo calendar so I can keep track of all the childrens school activities but never got round to doing it so when I saw Helene's challenge I knew exactly what I was going to alter.

I have recently bought some Copic Ciao markers and this was my first attempt at colouring an image.  Not entirely sure if I like them as much as Promarkers but hopefully with practice (and a few more pens lol!) my shading wll improve

I am going to be busy this weekend and next taking and collecting the children to birthday parties.  Chloe has been invited to 2 parties this weekend (today and tomorrow) and Jamie has been invited to a party next Saturday.  Parties seem to be very popular again amongst Chloe's friends this year.  Think it might be because they are turning 10 and are having parties to celebrate getting into double figures.  Well that's my theory anyway lol!

Golden Wedding Anniversary

My MIL asked me if I could make a card for her friends Golden Wedding Anniversary in April so this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge 'Happy Anniversary' was perfect for me.  This card also fits for the One Stop Craft challenge 'Let it Shine', Pollycraft 'Sparkly things and Pile it on 'Furry Friends'.  It doesn't show up well in the photograph but I have coloured the rose and hearts with a Sakura to make them 'sparkle'.

On Friday when I get home from work my new LOTV stamps were waiting for me.  I was most surprised because I had only ordered them on Wednesday.  This is the first time I have bought any LOTV stamps but it certainly won't be the last. I am very impressed because they stamp perfectly and are very good value for money at £3.75.  When I saw this cute cat I knew it would be the perfect image for my MIL's card.

Chloe and Jamie have just given me their cards and presents.  I am very lucky because they got me a cute teddy, pot plant, Alicia Keys CD, teddy keyring and a pink spotty pen set.  They must know I love bears because they both chose cards with cute 'Me To You' bears.

Allsorts Challenge ~ Just for Men

Good Morning

Kirsten has set the challenge this week at Allsorts and she has chosen Just for Men.  We are being sponsored by our regular monthly sponsor Digistamp Boutique who have a huge selection of digistamp images for all occasions. 

For my card I have used a Daisy & Dandelion decoupage pack which includes the die cut decoupage image and papers.  You will also notice I have used some peel off corners which rarely see light of day nowadays.  I had cut some Cuttlebug corners but they looked too much and I thought the peel offs added a more subtle finish.  I also used a peel off sentiment to match.  Don't know if I will be using them again any time soon but they came in handy for this card.
