Snowflakes in April

Good morning

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  The weather was gorgeous here yesterday but doesn't look like it's going to be quite as nice today because it has just started to rain.

Yesterday I met up with Lynsey and Marianne.  Lynsey and Marianne know each other through work but it was the first time I had met them but within minutes of meeting them we were all chatting like we had known each other for years.  To start off we went into a coffee shop for some refreshments and then we went to my local craft shop because we really NEEDED some crafty purchases lol!  We have followed each others blogs for a long time so it was lovely to meet them both at last.  We have all said we will definitely have to meet up again.

Last night I made a Christmas card as I had promised Marianne that I would try to enter a card for the Winter Wonderland challenge this week.  Both Marianne and Lynsey are on theWinter Wonderland DT and are offering candy on their blogs along with some of the other DT members if you enter this week's challenge so lots of chances to win this week.  Check out the Winter Wonderland blog for the details.

Pink & Black 'Girly' Card

Good afternoon

Chloe and Jamie went back to school today so I spent most of the day having a good tidy up, washing, ironing etc so no time for crafting today.  I did, however, manage to find time on Sunday to make this card for my work colleague, Jo, whose birthday is today.  I don't make many cards without using a stamped image but when I saw this Creative Cottage Bags of Style easel card kit I knew it would be perfect for Jo's card.  I have only used the papers and topper from the kit because I wanted to make a bigger easel card but this digi kit contains everything you need to create a stunning easel card and matching envelope.  I also made a frame for the image using my nesties.

Decided to step down from Allsorts

Good Morning

I am sad to say that I have decided to step down from the Allsorts DT. This wasn't an easy decison to make but doing so will give me more time to spend with Chris and the children because I am also going to cut back on the amount of time I spend blogging.  I have been on the Allsorts DT since the challenge first started last May and I have really enjoyed my time working alongside a fantastic group of ladies.

So to all my Allsorts teamies I would like to say a big thank you to you all for all the inspiration you have given me and most importantly your friendship.  I will miss you all but will still stop by your blogs to see what you have been up to.

It looks like it's going to be a lovely day so we are going out with the children to the coast later.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and the sun is shining for you :-)

Sprinkles & Ladybird!

Good Evening

Hope you have all enjoyed the last day of the Easter weekend.  We have had quite an expensive day because we popped to The Range to order Jamie's new bed and while we were there we also bought a new vacuum cleaner, pillows and bedding.  I was very good because the only craft items I bought were a pack of card blanks and 2 rolls of ribbon (Chris kept giving me the 'do you really need that look' lol!).

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

Hope you are all having a fab weekend!  On Friday we went to my mum's for lunch, yesterday Jamie went to a birthday party and today Chris' mum is coming for lunch so I haven't had much time to craft.  I did, however, manage to find time to finish Jamie's Easter card.  To be honest he isn't really into cards and no doubt when I give it to him after lunch will be more interested in the chocolate.  Chloe on the other hand loves cards.  I don't normally add flowers to male cards so hope it is okay.

Allsorts #46 ~ No DP's

Good Morning

This week the lovely Debs has set the challenge and she has challenged us to create something without using any (ready-made) Design Papers. You could have a go at creating your own, keep it really simple and have none or, as I have done, some embossing.  The choice is yours!

As it's the first Saturday of the month we are sponsored by our regular monthly sponsor Digistamp Boutique.  One lucky winner will have £10 to spend online ~ you will definitely be spoilt for choice!
