The last few days whilst I have been sorting through my stash I realised just how many Penny Black stamps I have but I don't seem to use them as often as I used to. So today I decided to make yet another Christmas card using one of my favourite Penny Black images.
I really wanted this card to 'sparkle' so decided to try spraying the image with Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle (Iridescent) after I had cut/embossed the image with an oval nestie. I was a little worried in case it made a mess of the image but I must say I am really pleased with the results and will definitely try this again. I also used Star Dust Stickles and a sprinkling of Glamour Dust to the scarf and snow and chalked the background before spraying.
Just to let you know there is a DT call at Penny Black at Allsorts and if you would like to be considered for the DT you need to enter this month's 'Glitter and Glitz' challenge.
